The Edit: Our Spring Preview

Featuring Banks Journal, Shades of Grey and LVIR

03.24.2022

Life is blooming and flowers are blossoming here in the district which can only mean one thing… that spring is officially here. With its extremely welcome arrival, come covetable new collections that we’ll *actually* have the chance to wear IRL. From tonal colorways to denim on denim, these are just a few of the trends (and the styles that come with them) that won’t disappoint.

BANKS JOURNAL

Banks Journal Studio will be presenting an exclusive collection this season in collaboration with Shannon McMillen, sculptural artist and neon extraordinaire local to Los Angeles. The collection will be all about the shade purple and the gentle gradients found within it thanks to inspiration drawn from the setting sun’s golden hour.

The natural world continues to be the brand’s muse for the rest of spring, with their Spring ‘22 collection that conjures images of the city to the seaside. These season-less staples emphasize texture, color and natural beauty, while also utilizing fabrications that help to create a sustainable future.

SHADES OF GREY

Muted, soft colors stand out this season (and always) at this boutique for elevated essentials. Items are styled to bring both a flowy and structural silhouette that’s reminiscent of the ‘90s. The brand also dips its toes into denim, and plays around with a standout patchwork design that is simple, bold and monochromatic.

LVIR

The genesis of LVIR was rooted in design that emphasized natural, modern minimalism and their Spring 22 collection goes back to these roots. Earthy neutrals can be found on premium materials -- the likes of which include Italian leather, Japanese linen, and cotton. Utilitarian silhouettes make these structural pieces perfect for everyday wear.

Make sure to shop all of this and so much more at ROW while you still can. This warm weather waits for no one!
