Behold. Your Cocktail Hour Hit List

Happy Hour

4.22.2019

It’s not just enough to know that an after work cocktail hour exists. No, no. It’s important to know where, when and what’s good, so that you indulge in the happiest hour of your work week.

Luckily, ROW DTLA’s Cocktail Hour Hit List is here for you.

Rappahannock Oyster Bar

After work drinks at Rappahannock Oyster Bar means a selection of shareables including Smoked Trout Deviled Eggs, Crispy Fingerlings and a Market Pickle Plate, all only $6. Don’t like to share? That’s okay. Try LA’s new favorite burger, the “Lil Rapp Burger,” and keep it all for yourself.

Enjoy the beautiful patio or maritime-themed indoor space with friends as you pair your cocktail hour bites with a sip of something light, or the zip of something ocean fresh from the raw bar. Any way you share it, at Rappahannock you’ll do boozy right, and in good company.

Rappahannock Cocktail Hours: Mondays from 4pm – close. Tuesday through Sunday from 4pm – 6pm.

Alameda Supper Club

Nick Meyer, Julian Cox and CJ Catalano are the brains behind Alameda Supper Club’s impressive libations list, featuring creative cocktails, noteworthy new spirits, and delightful little bites that will make you never want to leave. A part of Tartine’s The Manufactory ASC’s signature sips should be enjoyed on its trendy outdoor patio that always leaves a lasting impression on colleagues or dates. That impression? That being happy can last more than an hour.

Alameda Supper Club Hours: Monday through Thursday from 5pm – 10pm. Fridays from 5pm – 11pm. Saturdays from 3pm – 11pm. And Sundays from 3pm- 10pm.

Flask & Field

When it’s time to unwind, there’s no better place than Flask & Field. Their’s is an experiential cocktail hour meant to excite and delight. With multiple tasting events, including a pottery wheel throwing party paired with rosé at Still Life Ceramics, it’s a decompression from the work week that both the mind and taste buds can appreciate. And since rosé is the only acceptable Millennial pink drink you’re allowed to consider liking, sipping here also means you’re woke.

Paramount Coffee Project

There’s something delightfully un-fussy about a drink at Paramount Coffee Project’s sleek, minimalist space. Sipping is just more sublime, as your friendly drinks here are paired with eats that defy the idea of the traditional “snack.” From grilled cheese to chicken hash to the glass of wine or beer in your hand, everything at PCP is sourced from the freshest local ingredients. Including the bold PCP roast you’ll take home with you to recalibrate the morning after.

Paramount Coffee Project Hours: Monday through Wednesday from 8am – 5pm. Thursday through Sunday from 8am – 8pm.

Pikunico

Okay, we’ll bite. Pikunico’s Japanese fried chicken (karaage) is exactly what you want to soak up those drinks after you’re finished sipping. During Pikunico’s “Snack Time,” you can have dining at its finest with no-fuss fare in a to-go way. This means chicken tender combos featuring mouth-watering, inspired sides for only $5. No, you didn’t hear us wrong. And yes, looks like you have one last stop on the ROW DTLA cocktail hour train.

Pikunico “Snack Time”: Monday through Friday from 3pm – 6pm.

Whatever your cocktail hour looks like, ROW DTLA is there for you. Whether it’s craft cocktails and raw bar bites, or fried chicken and people-watching, you really can’t do any better than a beautiful Market Row patio with friends, pups (yes, they’re always welcome), and an evening of human reconnection.

See you there!
