This holiday season, skip the store-bought ornaments and make a set that’s yours. Join ceramist and illustrator Steve Stringer for a hands-on workshop where you’ll “tattoo” your own ceramic ornaments.

Steve will guide you through the technique, whether you’re sketching a tiny portrait of your dog, a favorite line, a skyline, or something delightfully strange. No ceramics experience needed, just bring an idea.

You won’t have to wait around for the kiln, either. Steve will take care of the glazing and drying, and your finished ornament will be mailed to you in about three weeks, just after Christmas. It’s a little keepsake to hang on next year’s tree, and a very good excuse to get a head start on the holidays at ROW DTLA.
