Portland, OR, based artist Katie Marks will teach how to create two smoking devices, bubblers and pipes, using the pottery wheel! Students will learn how to throw forms on the pottery wheel, trim and alter the form to create functional smoking devices, and sculpt detailed motifs onto the pieces to make a unique pipe in the style of your dreams, whatever your dreams might be! Basic - intermediate wheel throwing abilities preferred! 2 day workshop, 11am - 5pm, Sat 18th and Sunday 19th April
