For a few short weeks each summer, Alex Weiser's variety of heirloom melons reach their peak. Grown with care and harvested when ripe, each variety has its own character, and they're only here for a short time. Join Weiser Family Farms and Sonoko Sakai as they come together on Saturday, August 29 for an afternoon inspired by Mai and the Missing Melon—Sonoko's children's book based on the true story of a melon accidentally left behind and fortunate enough to be returned.
Your $75 Ticket includes:
Weiser Family Farms stand will also be open from 2–5 PM, where you'll have the chance to purchase seasonal melons and other farm produce at their peak.
Whether you're discovering heirloom melons for the first time or have been waiting all summer for their return, Alex Wesier & Sonoko Sakai would love to spend the afternoon with you.
