
Born and raised in China, Chef Kar Son grew up surrounded by the flavors of home — recipes and techniques passed down through generations. As he searched for those same tastes later in life, he realized how difficult it was to find Chinese cooking that truly reflected those memories.
The menu at Kar Son is deeply personal. Each dish reflects what the chef loved eating while growing up — classic recipes prepared with care and respect for tradition, true to their roots and uncompromised in flavor. From wontons, soup dumplings, and beef noodle soup to Chongqing-style spicy chicken and green peppercorn short ribs, everything is made by hand and from scratch — even the chili oil — to preserve the truest expression of Chinese cooking.
Through this restaurant, Chef Kar Son hopes to share those memories and the pure, genuine flavors of Chinese cuisine.
