Here’s one way to restock your summer-to-fall wardrobe. A rad roster of cool local labels are teaming for To Live and Buy in LA, a two-day sample sale at ROW DTLA that you definitely won’t want to miss.
Happening Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 (11am to 6pm daily), expect major markdowns on eyewear from Garrett Leight California Optical ($40 for optical and clips, and $60 to $80 for sunnies), cool-girl clothing from Staud, dreamy dresses by Christy Dawn, stylish activewear from Live the Process, women’s and men’s swimwear by Solid & Striped, Paris-meets-LA footwear by Marais, and menswear and basics from Buck Mason.
Though Sunday’s event coincides with weekly foodie-faved event Smorgasburg, the deal-filled happening also promises a stellar food truck lineup featuring bagels from Yeastie Boys, Brasil Kiss organic coffee, the Grilled Cheese Truck, and vegetarian fare by Butcher’s Daughter. That’s not all: a portion of sales will benefit LA surf therapy nonprofit A Walk on Water.
