626 Night Market
What: The 6th season of San Gabriel Valley’s biggest food festival, 626 Night Market, is finally here. The market boasts evening hours that stretch from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m and a solid roster of entertainment and food vendors that hawk Asian street food that runs the gamut from roasted snails to grilled meats to rainbow Korean dumplings.
Where: Santa Anita Park 285 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia

Thursday, July 13

Raw Food Pop-Up Dinner
What: Healthy living mecca Wanderlust Hollywood will host chef Matthew Kenney for its next installment of its Find Your Fork dinner series. Expect a menu of raw, presumably healthy dishes, wine, and organic tea.

Ruby’s Diner Challenge
What: Ruby’s Diner is celebrating its 35th anniversary by offering $2.99 burgers and french fries. Food challenge lovers will also have the opportunity to tackle the Stack Attack Challenge, a giant 3.5 pound burger composed of six 8 oz beef patties and loaded with toppings like RubySauce, onion rings, bacon, and jalapeños. Competitors have 35 minutes to consume the burger, fries, and a shake to win.

Stu and The Kids Fundraiser
What: The annual Stu and The Kids fundraiser is back at the Vibiana this year. One of the city’s premier food festivals benefits orphans from the hill tribes of Northern Thailand and Burma with a solid lineup of culinary talent that includes food by Night + Market, Jet Tila, Republique, Sherry Yard, Jitlada, and Redbird.

LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade Fundraiser
What: Suzanne Goin, Caroline Styne, and David Lentz’s annual LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade Fundraiser is back for its eighth year. The food festival with what is always one of the year’s most impressive roster of chefs from across the country raises funds to find better treatments and cures for children with cancer. This year’s headliners include Giada De Laurentiis, April Bloomfield, Nancy Silverton, Michael Voltaggio, Jonathan Waxman, and Jon and Vinny.
