6 Downtown L.A. Restaurants to Try Before Coachella

The first weekend of Coachella 2019 kicks off in Indio this Friday and you know what that means—all of Los Angeles will be abuzz with pre-fest activities. Whether it’s parties, private concerts, or simply some much-needed R&R by the pool, it’s all happening right now. To fuel up while you’re in town, SIXTY’s selected a few of our favorite new restaurants in Downtown L.A. Hit one before you hop on the highway and head towards those famous polo fields—windows down and this brand-spankin’-new Coachella soundtrack on.

The Manufactory

The Manufactory at The Row DTLA is the latest food mecca to hit Los Angeles. The smartly renovated building is a one-stop shop for elegant snacks and sips. For sugar and caffeine, there’s the straightforwardly named Ice Cream + Coffee Window. Tartine Bianco holds it down as an all-day cafe with a seasonal menu inspired by farmers market finds. Swing by The Market for ready-made soups and salads. And, if you’re wanting to do something fancy this week, make a res at Alameda Supper Club.
